On the road

The summer of 2010, I meet this guy in a little place called Cataviña, in the middle of the desert of the Baja peninsula (about 9 hours from the border line with San Diego, California).

He's an american guy, who now lives in this little rest stop.

We talk for about half hour. He told me how he created the fast food concept, the tv series Magnum P.I., and several songs for Elvis and The Beatles.

He didn't tell me his name, or how he end there.

I ask him if he believes in god. He answer: oh yes, I saw him in the desert.

El verano del 2010 conocí a este señor en un pequeño lugar llamado Cataviña, en la mitad del desierto de la península de Baja (a unas 8 horas de Tijuana).

Es un estadounidense que ahora vive en esta pequeñísima parada de descanso, que sólo cuenta con una tiendita de abarrotes.

Hablamos por cerca de media hora, y me contó de cómo él creo el concepto de los restaurantes de comida rápida, la serie de tv Magnum P.I., y de cómo compuso varias canciones para Elvis y The Beatles.

No me dijo su nombre, ni cómo llegó ahí.

Le pregunté si creía en dios. Me contestó que sí, y en alguna ocasión lo vio en el desierto.
